The Call Center Series
The Call Center Series is a workplace comedy created by Connor Dunwoodie, built on the painfully relatable chaos of customer service and the slow emotional unraveling that comes with it. What started in 2020 as a few videos filmed on an iPhone in a bedroom quickly turned into a full-scale production—with sets, scripts, characters, and millions of fans who felt way too seen.
Since its launch, the series has been seen by nearly 300 million viewers across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and more—proof that corporate suffering is truly universal.
At the center of it all is Rye Hemlock, a sarcastic, emotionally unavailable customer service agent working at Your Bank—a barely functioning financial institution that seems to specialize in unresolved issues and broken spirits. Rye became a voice for anyone who’s ever dealt with difficult customers, faked a smile in a meeting, or quietly lost their mind in a cubicle.
Connor writes, films, edits, and stars in the series, often playing multiple characters/customers through voiceovers, AI filters, and tight editing to bring it all to life. The show blends mockumentary-style interviews, dry humor, and absurd workplace scenarios that toe the line between satire and emotional realism.
The Rye Supply Store was created thanks to overwhelming demand from fans who also wanted to emotionally spiral—just with better accessories. Every item here—from the mugs to the mouse pads—is either featured in the series, inspired by it, or something Rye would 100% use to passive-aggressively survive another shift.
So whether you’re a longtime fan, an honorary Your Bank employee, or just someone who enjoys coping through comedy—welcome. We’re glad you’re here (but don’t ask to speak to a manager).
